We may collect business contact and enquiry information such as your name, email address, organisation, role, correspondence and information you choose to provide to us. For Capital Intelligence and events, we may also collect self-declared user classification, geographic interests, registration or attendance details, platform-access requests, event preferences and related communications. We may also receive professional information from public sources, referrals, professional networks and counterparties.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, operate platform accounts and permissions, enable user-directed networking and communication features, provide services, maintain records, protect our website and systems, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing a professional services business.

4. Capital Intelligence

Where you use Capital Intelligence, we may process professional information relating to fund managers, investors, companies, advisers and other business contacts in order to operate profiles, permissions, search, filtering, access requests and user-directed communication features. Lonsbridge does not use this processing to manually select counterparties or arrange transactions. We do not sell personal data or publish bulk contact lists.

5. Events and access screening

We may use self-declared professional role, organisation and geographic information to administer Capital Intelligence access, event registrations, routing and permissions. A business email address or self-declared category does not by itself establish regulatory or investor-eligibility status. Where particular content requires additional eligibility information, that information may be requested separately.

6. Who we may share information with

We may share information with service providers that support our website, forms, email, cloud systems and professional operations; with legal, accounting or other professional advisers; with authorities where required by law; and, where a user directs or authorises it through platform functionality, with another platform user or business counterparty.

7. International activity

Lonsbridge works across the UK and international markets, including the GCC and India. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps intended to protect it in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal, contractual or regulatory requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or objection to processing of your personal information, and in some cases data portability. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Our current website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information required to deliver and protect the website and contact form.

11. Automated decisions

We do not use the website contact form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.
